Trio of tables: "Sara Bela Dora".

-Rooted symbolisms-

The mesh proposed by the niches of the beehive bookcase, the first piece I designed in 2015, becomes a muxarabi, almost a print. Just like it, it proposes a break in orthogonality, an asymmetry, a break in protocols, which gains irreverence and versatility in the interlocking joints. Nesting tables became popular in 19th century England, but here they also allude to the muxarabi, ventilated meshes that contributed so much to advances in architecture, being the origin of the cobogó. Using all of Tresore's technological resources, it becomes a piece with a simple idea but bold materiality, thanks to the use of Belize quartzite and the cutting of blocks rather than slabs. The name pays tribute to my three dear aunts, the inseparable Sara, Bela and Dora, in this piece that can be arranged together or separately, combining persuasive design and functionality.

Natural stone table and machined natural stone base. PIECE SIGNED BY DESIGNER VICTOR NISKIER.
